Prostate-specific Antigen P30 Semen Detection Test

This home test works just like a pregnancy test – one line means negative, two lines means positive.

The test can be performed on materials, including fabric, swabs, and bodily fluids. This test looks for a protein called prostate-specific antigen (PSA), not found in any other bodily fluids except minute amounts in blood, urine and some female bodily fluids. A positive result indicates the presence of PSA, suggesting the presumptive presence of semen. Confirm results with a DNA test.

Easy to use Collect the stain

Rub the stain with a moistened swab for 60 seconds. You can also cut a small section of the material with the suspected stain.

Test the stain

Use the supplied dropper to place 15 mL of water in a container. Place the PSA test in container. Place the swab tip or fabric into the container.

Wait for results

Wait 10 minutes for results.

Read result

A positive test is indicated by two lines.

A negative test will only have one line.

Directions

1. Use the supplied dropper to place 15 mL of water in a container.

2. Collect the stain. Either rub it with a moistened swab for 60 seconds or cut a small section of the material.

3. Place the swab or fabric cutting into the container of 15 mL water.

4. Perform the test. Open the PSA test and place it in the container with the water and the test sample.

5. Wait 10 minutes.

• A POSITIVE test is indicated by two lines . A strongly positive test will be clearly visible within two minutes, while a weak positive test may take the entire 20 minutes to become evident.

• A NEGATIVE test will have only one line
